Community responses to ‘The Magic Gardens Project’ for development of a child-centred and teacher-framed curriculum. The school’s Negotiated Curriculum will be compared with state targets for the arts.

I have a lifelong passion for all areas of the arts, and regard my current role as lecturer and co-ordinator of arts courses for the Bachelor of Education Undergraduate degree in University of Southern Queensland as an opportunity to change the ways in which the arts are taught in schools, bringing pre-service teachers to a greater confidence and understanding of the importance of the arts.
