Colin Rhodes is Professor of Art History and Theory and Dean of Sydney College of the Arts, the Visual Arts Faculty of the University of Sydney. He has written and lectured widely on modern and contemporary art. His books include Primitivism and Modern Art (1994) and Outsider Art: Spontaneous Alternatives (2000).
