Dr. Susan Cashion has been with the Stanford University Dance Division since l972 and is a nationally recognized scholar in Mexican dance. Dr. Cashion is the co-founder of California Mexican Dance Company, Los Lupeños de San Jose, and is a founding member of la Asociación Nacional de Grupos Folklóricos. Beyond Stanford, Dr. Cashion has choreographed musical theater for Palo Alto’s TheatreWorks Company including Ain't Misbehavin', Pacific Overtures, and Miami Lights (for which she received a Bay Area Drama Logue Critics Award).
