The arts have traditionally been a vehicle for the artist’s creative voice. But is this changing? How does the art viewer enter the artist’s world of meaning? Or is meaning increasingly becoming the property of the viewer? Has the order changed to witness the consumer becoming authority and the producer becoming a slave to the consumer market?
